Mosaic for Charity

We donate our mosaic for charity auctions in our community on a regular basis. We believe that art should be available to everyone and definitely reflects and enhances the soul of a community. We're proud to lend our support to the many organizations doing excellent work on behalf of the arts and individuals and families in Fort Collins.

Here's a peek at our mosaic art for charity donations

Fort Collins Dancing With the Stars 2008 Fundraiser to benefit Canyon Concert Ballet. We had the pleasure of making the disco ball traveling trophy that will be awarded each year to the winner of the event.

It just so happens that our very own Jane Sullivan and her dance partner Chris McCullough WON the 2008 Dancing With the Stars Fort Collins.

Cultivate Hope

2008 Fundraiser for Mathews House. We created this flower pot for the Mathews House first ever Cultivate Hope fundraiser. We chose cream, yellow, green, gold glitter, and orange glass tiles. As you can see in the photos, each side of the pot is slightly different - a river of orange vitreous glass mini tile meanders along like a bee collecting pollen in a garden of tile.

A River Runs Through Us

The Masks at MOCA 2008 fundraiser for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Fort Collins.

The inspiration for this piece comes from the ancient Chinese poet T’ao Ch’ien: Though I am different from you, we were born involved in one another.

We began this project by exploring the relationship between sisters, how each serves as a mirror for the other, reflecting similarities and differences, yet maintaining always the genetic code that we share. As the work progressed however, we realized that the metaphor is much larger than sibling relationships – the river that runs through all of us is our humanity. We are involved in one another, no matter how great the differences.

Great Balls of Fire

We donated one of our favorite Rock 'n Rollers for a fundraiser within the Colorado University Foundation. We're happy to report that Great Balls of Fire has found a good home in a lovely garden in Fort Collins.
