Rockettes have every bit as much attitude as their larger cousins, the Rock n Rollers. They work well in the garden or deck or displayed in a place of honor in your home on a desk or table.

You might wonder where one finds small bowling balls to mosaic. As the saying goes, "We could tell you, but then we'd have to kill you!" Okay, we're not going to kill you. Actually at Two Sisters, we're very friendly. Killing has never crossed our minds.

Truth is, our small mosaic bowling balls come from a family entertainment center with an electronic bowling game. When they are ready to retire the balls, we get them.

Rockettes have the same advantages of the larger ones - they're heavy so don't blow away when the wind comes up. (We don't know where you live, but in Colorado, it can get pretty darned windy.)

And they provide an instant pop of color and interest wherever they're placed.

This ball is all about fun. Look closely for the red glass lips interspersed among black and red vitreous tile, white iridescent glass tile, silver shards of flitter and red glass gems. Black grout unites the piece. Mick Jagger would be proud!

Here's something you probably don't know. One of the two sisters, whose name starts with "Jane" is more than a little enamored with glitter. When she put two shades of gold glitter tile with silver glitter tile, well, she could barely contain herself. Chocolate brown grout calms the piece down a bit, but whoo boy, this is one sparkly Rockette. When the sun hits those tiles, it's going to be nothing short of amazing. Just be sure to wear your sunglasses and you'll be okay!

Blue Moon - Private Collection NFS

This little Rockette incorporates a variety of blue and black glass and vitreous tiles. Small blue mirror tile snakes around the ball accompanied by a milky blue irridescent body guard. There's just enough sparkle to ensure that there's no mistake that this is from the Two Sisters!

There's always something new to entice your eye as you view this little beauty. It all depends on your angle. Come to think of it...isn't that true about life as well?

A soothing, verdant river of emerald green meanders through a collage of every other shade of green you can imagine. This small gazing ball exudes the soft green of early spring and will be a welcome sight in your early garden, when the eye is starved for anything green.
